Responsibilities include classroom and clinical teaching in the Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies Second Degree BSN program. Serves as Master Teacher by providing faculty development and monitoring to Clinical Nursing instructors, Nurse Educators and advanced Nurse Educators. Additional responsibilities include student advisement, recruitment, and retention activities; ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum; professional development; scholarly activity; participation in program, college and university committees and other activities that benefit the Scholars program and WHC. Doctorate degree in Nursing, Education, or Healthcare Administration is required. Five or more years experience of progressively more responsible job related experience in Nursing, with at least two years of teaching experience in a BSN program. Experience in a nursing advanced practice role (education, clinical or administrative) is preferred. A license as a registered nurse in the District of Columbia is required.
