Responsible for the management of the Anatomic Pathology Services in the Department of Pathology, including Histopathology (which includes the grossing and accessioning areas), the Morgue, Cytopathology, Medical Photography, and the Surgical Pathology secretarial support. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Cytotechnology, Histotechnology, or equivalent is required. Approximately 5 to 6 years of progressively more responsible job related experience giving clinical familiarity of Histopathology or Cytopathology required. Both Histopathology and Cytopathology preferred. ASCP certification as a histotechnologist, medical technologist, or cytotechnologist is required.
