Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all service line activities involved in the effective, efficient, and economical utilization of material resources and personnel of the delegated service line, ensuring patient service is continuous and high quality. Responsible for orientation, training, development, and management of service line personnel. Works collaboratively with Control Desk Manager, Physicians, surgical service leadership and staff, Materials Management, and other ancillary departments. Supervises staff of delegated service lines. Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. Approximately three years nursing experience required; two years OR experience preferred. Previous service line and/or management experience preferred. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia is required. Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred; Certified Nurse in the Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred.
